Bernie naps

Bernie has a unique personality. He's very sweet, likes to cuddle up for short stretches, and is very affectionate - even with strangers - but he's also kind of neurotic. He freaks out at the sound of shuffling cards.

His eyes are freindly, but the often have a worried wary look to them. He's usually sitting in "his" chair which lets him face our big front window where he can keep an eye on everything. He really seems like he's keeping vigil. So when he's looking like he does in this picture, napping deeply and looking so very, very relaxed, I can almost feel in myself a sense of relief for him.
