Curb appeal

I like finding random patterns of colors, shapes, and textures that just happen to be next to each other, and I give extra points when they just happened to be lined up next to each other in vertical lines and have some sort of harmony or complimentary feel to them.

I also learned today that those little spiky things are not "monkey balls" which is the name I learned for them as a kid, but are actually Sweet Gum tree seed pods. Who knew?
