Bottle tree

My neighbor Dave made this. He has a few in his yard. It looked especially pretty in the snow at night. He raises chickens (just a few at a time) and has a chicken graveyard in the woods behind his house. He's made a cement marker for each one and has their names on them. If you saw him you would guess he was a methodist or presbyterian. He's actually a buddhist. He told me everyone gets seven lives on earth, each one progressing until we reach enlightenment. Seven seems like a random number to me.
