Bernie trying to understand

I mean, he is really trying. There may be food involved so this is serious business. In fact, he may no longer be trying to understand, but instead being as cute as he can to procure said food. It's interesting to think about how much more our dogs understand us when we communicate with them then how much we're able to figure out what they are trying to tell us.
