Night and daisies

This is part of one of several mosaic pieces embedded on the wall of a nearby school. They are right under a bright light near the schools entrance so the light that hits them is harsh, and this really brings our the jagged shapes of the cut-up tile pieces that make up most of the mosaic. But amidst those hard lines and shadows there are a group of handmade tile daisies that almost look like they are made out of fresh drops of paint. It's an interesting juxtaposition.
