Spotted sky

I've been taking the dogs to a nearby baseball park for the last 3 years almost every day. One of the nice things about where we live is there are a lot of trees, so the amount of sky in view is seldom wide open. But the baseball park is next to a school which has a lot of open space around it, so the sky really opens up there. It's interesting how different it feels on a clear day with a big sky above you.

The other thing about being able to see a large swatch of sky is when it's covered with an interesting pattern of clouds. This particular day I happened to catch the sky covered from end to end with these little dollops of cloud and the sun was heading toward the horizon so it was lighting up the underside of the clouds.
