Waiting for Spring

It's easy to walk by this little tree that we just planted the past Spring and ignore what looks like a dead, brown, dried out bunch of sticks. But, taking a closer look there's beauty to be found there. The buds that look like sleigh bells. The little tendrils that extend off of the buds.

It will be fun to watch the transformation in Spring, the brown turning green, and eventually the buds breaking open to let loose an explosion of pink.
